Exhibition From February 17 to March 4 | Mahabandoola Park
Opening | Saturday 17 February
Cultural heritage is the legacy that is inherited from past generations, maintained in the present and bestowed for the benefit of future generations. As the ancient Khmer capital of Angkor is already celebrating its 25 years anniversary as world heritage site, Bagan is on its way to UNESCO listing and Mrauk-U also preparing its bid. Composed of rare archive photographs from private collections -some have never been shown before – and a documentary work of the restorations by European specialists, this exhibition displays the magic and mystery of ancient kingdoms and exemplify cultural heritage values.
