For the last ten years, PhotoDoc Association has been training more than 1,000 visual journalists and social activists to produce powerful stories about human rights, cultural heritage and environmental issues all around Myanmar. These short documentaries reach a large audience of up to 38 million viewers thanks to Myanmar Stories, our e-magazine.
PhotoDoc also organises the yearly Yangon Photo Festival. The 11th YPF will take place from February 18 to March 4, 2019.
An audience of over 150,000 enjoyed free admission to the exhibitions and screenings by more than 200 local, regional and international photographers.
“PHOTODOC – Changing Myanmar one story at a time” is a documentary filmed and produced by our Danish friend Jesper Holm Pedersen about “the Story Behind.”
